EN// Hello beauties! Today it’s time for the 25 HOURS HOTEL VIENNA review. If you follow me on instagram (@styleoverfunction) you know that I had the opportunity to spend two days in this beautiful hotel located at the Museumsquartier in Vienna. And I really have to say this hotel is really one of a kind.

First the location is just perfect. All the beautiful must-see spots are in walking distance. You have also tons and tons of cool bars and restaurants near by and it is a 5 minute walk away from the best shopping street in Vienna, the Mariahilferstraße.

The design of the hotel itself is super cool and very relaxed. There are so many cute details, little quotes and funny pictures everywhere. It is different to all the hotels I have ever been to, but I really loved it. Altough it is a 4 star hotel and located in the city center of Vienna it is not snobby at all and the moment you walk in you feel like you are at home or visiting good friends.

My room had the perfect size, not too big but not to small either and the bed was so comfortable! The bathroom had a big shower and was very spacious. I also had the opportunity to see other available rooms in the hotel. The so called L room was a little bit bigger than my room and had a bathtub and the panorama suite was just a dream come true. Huge, with a glas front and the best view over Vienna (pictures above).

When you can’t afford a panorama suite (or you just want to hang out in a cool bar without booking a room), you still have the opportunity to visit the “Dachboden” on the eight floor. “Dachboden” is a bar with delicious cocktails and a rooftop terrace with the greatest view. The good thing is also that you don’t need a reservation and you don’t have to be super styled up to come in and enjoy a beautiful evening there. Everyone is welcome 🙂

So and now you will say: Ok sounds like a cool hotel but nothing special except the modern design. Well now I will tell you everything about the little “specials” you get when you book a room in the 25 Hours Hotel Vienna:

• There is also the restaurant 1500 Foodmakers with super delicious italian Food with an american touch. Also the breakfast is served there. It’s a huge buffet with tons of different things to choose (also healthy and vegan options). You have to try the porridge there. SO good!
• At the brekfast buffet they also serve fresh honey given by the bees living in the beehives on the 8th floor of the hotel. How often you have fresh honey for brekfast? Such a great idea.
• The car brand “Mini” is a sponsor of the hotel. So two Mini Cooper are waiting in the garage to be rented by you absolutely for free! If you prefer two wheels you can also rent bikes!
• The “Mermaid’s Cave” with it’s sauna, steam bath, fitness and relaxing room is open 24/7. You just have to ask at the reception to heat the sauna and you can go whenever you want, even in the middle of the night 😉
• All rooms have different colorful wallpapers of from Berlin illustrator Olaf Hayek.

So all in all I had an amazing time at the 25 Hours Hotel Vienna. Their motto is “Come as you are” and I really had the feeling that everyone is welcome. Love these good vibes! I really recommend you to book a room in this amazing hotel and enjoy the 25 Hours Hotel experience yourself!

DE// Hallo ihr Lieben! Wenn ihr mir auf Instagram (@styleoverfunction) folgt, dann habt ihr bestimmt gesehen, dass ich letzte Woche zwei Tage im wunderschönen 25 Hours Hotel Vienna beim Museumsquartier verbracht habe. Und ich muss euch sagen das Hotel ist wirklich einzigartig!

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Museumsquartier und man kann alle wichtigen Sightseeing-Spots einfach zu Fuß erreichen und wenn nicht dann gibt es immer noch eine Ubahn Station direkt beim Hotel. Außerdem gibt es unzählige coole Bars und Restaurants in der Umgebung und die beste Einkaufsstraße Wiens (Mariahilferstraße) ist nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Das Design des Hotels ist einzigartig. Etwas verrückt, aber genau mein Ding. Überall gibt es kleine nette Details zu entdecken. Zum Beispiel lustige Sprüche oder Zeichnungen. Obwohl es ein 4-Sterne-Hotel im Zentrum von Wien ist, ist es absolut nicht “Schicki Micki” und sobald man reinkommt fühlt man sich wie zuhause oder zu Besuch bei guten Freunden.

Mein Zimmer hatte die perfekte Größe, nicht zu klein und nicht zu groß. Das Bett war so bequem und die Kissen waren wie für mich gemacht. Das Badezimmer hatte eine große Dusche und war sehr geräumig. Ich hatte auch die Gelegenheit andere Zimmer zu begutachten. Das sogenannte L-Zimmer ist etwas größer und hat zusätzlich eine freistehende Badewanne und die Panorama Suite ist sowieso ein Traum. Riesig, super ausgestattet und mit einer Glas Fassade und unglaublichem Blick über die Dächer Wiens (Fotos oben).

Wenn man sich aber nicht gerade eine Nacht in der Panorama Suite leisten kann oder einfach so mal einen leckeren Cocktail mit wundervollem Ausblick genießen will, kann man (auch als Nicht-Hotel-Gast) den “Dachboden” im achten Stock besuchen. Der “Dachboden” ist eine supercoole Bar mit einer wunderschönen Dachterrasse. Das Gute dabei ist, man braucht nicht unbedingt eine Reservation und man muss sich nicht extra aufstylen, wie das bei so manchen anderen Rooftop-Bars der Fall ist. Jeder ist willkommen!

So und jetzt werdet ihr sagen: Schönes Hotel aber was ist den nun so besonders daran? Hier kommen all die kleinen “Specials” die ihr bei anderen Hotels in Wien mit Sicherheit nicht finden werdet:

• Es gibt nicht nur den Dachboden im achten Stock sondern auch das 1500 Foodmakers Restaurant mit super leckerem italienischen Essen mit amerikanischem Einschlag. Auch das Frühstück wird hier serviert. Ein Frühstücksbuffet mit Riesenauswahl. Da ist mit Sicherheit für jeden etwas dabei (auch gesunde und vegane Alternativen). Mein Favorit war das Porridge. So lecker!
• Außerdem gibt es beim Buffet Honig, den die hauseigenen Bienen (die Bienenstöcke befinden sich auf der Dachterrasse) geben. Wo hat man schon ganz frischen Honig zum Frühstück?
• Die Automarke “Mini” ist ein Sponsor des Hotels. Es warten also zwei Mini Cooper in der Garage darauf kostenlos von euch gemietet zu werden! Wenn ihr allerdings zwei Räder bevorzugt gibt es auch etliche Fahrräder zum Ausleihen!
• Die “Mermaid’s Cave” mit Sauna, Dampfbad, Fitness- und Ruheraum ist rund um die Uhr für euch geöffnet. Einfach an der Rezeption Bescheid sagen, dass sie die Sauna einheizen sollen und schon kann es losgehen.
• Alle Zimmer haben verschiedene vom Berliner Illustrator Olaf Hayek designte Tapeten.

Alles in allem hatte ich eine tolle Zeit im 25 Hours Hotel Vienna. Ich habe echt das Gefühl, dass dort ihr Motto “Come as you are” auch voll gelebt wird. Jeder ist willkommen! Ich liebe diese “Good Vibes”! Ich würde euch wirklich empfehlen, einfach ein Zimmer in diesem wunderschönen Hotel zu buchen und die 25 Hours Hotel Vienna Erfahrung selbst zu erleben!

FR// Hello tout le monde! La semaine dernière j’avais l’occasion de passer deux nuits dans le 25 Hours Hotel à Vienne. Et c’était tellement cool que j’ai decidé de vous présenter l’hotel plus en détail. Cet Hotel et exceptionnel et il a un caractère unique que j’ai jamais vue ailleurs.

L’hotel est directemment à coté de quartier de musées et tous les attractions touristiques sont accesibles à pied ou à metro. Il y a aussi beaucoup de restaurants et bars dans ce quartier et á moins de 500 mètres se trouve la “Mariahilferstraße”, la plus grande rue commercante à Vienne.

L’hotel est un maison 4 étoiles mais il est plutôt cool que super chic et le moment on rentre dans l’hotel on se sent immédiatemment comme chez soi où chez un bon ami. La taille de ma chambre était parfaite, pas trop grande mais pas trop petite non plus. Le lit était super confortable et j’avais une grande douche dans la salle de bains. J’avais aussi l’occasion de voir autres chambres disponibles dans l’hotel. Par exemple le chambre “L” et la suite panoramique Avec une très belle vue sur Vienne (photos ci-dessus).

Si vous voulez voir cette vue magnifique mais vous ne voulez pas passer la nuit dans une suite vous pouvez également visiter le “Dachboden”. Le “Dachboden c’est un bar à cocktail en 8ème étage de l’hotel avec une terrasse de toit et une vue magnifique sur Vienne! Mieux encore: il faut pas avoir une reservation ou un styling de ouf pour rentrer dans le bar et boire un cocktail delicieux. Tout le monde est bienvenu!

Et en plus il y a beaucoup des “petits specials” dans cet Hotel on ne peut pas trouver ailleurs. Par example:

• Dans l’hotel il y a aussi un restaurant qui appelle “1500 Foodmakers” avec une gastronomie incroyable. Le buffet de petit déjeuner est aussi servi dans cet endroit. Le choix est immense. Mon plat préferé était le porridge (comme d’hab ;)) Et sur le buffet il y a aussi de miel frais, donné par les abeilles qui habite dans les ruches au 8ème étage de l’hotel. Trop cool 😉
• La marque automobile “Mini” est sponsor de 25 Hours Hotel Vienne. Deux Mini Cooper attendent au garage pour être louès de vous. Totalement gratuite! Et si vous preferez les deux-roues, vous pouvez aussi louer des vélos!
• La “Mermaid’s Cave” est ouverte 24/7. Il faut que dire au receptionniste que vous voulez y aller et lui il va chauffer le sauna. C’est tout!
• Toutes les chambres ont un papier peint different dessiné par l’illustrateur Olaf Hayek de Berlin.

En tout j’ai eu un très bon temps au 25 Hours Hotel Vienna. Leur Devise est: “Come as you are” et j’avais vraiment l’impression que tout le monde est bienvenu! Si vous chercher un super Hotel, qui est bien situé et a beaucoup des “extras” à Vienne il faut que vous passez une nuit au 25 Hours Hotel Vienna!
