PORTO – LIFE UPDATE

EN// It’s absolutely time for a life update I guess. One second we were in Vienna and the next one we moved to Porto. Welcome to our life 😉 You probably think that we knew about the move and prepared everything and just didn’t tell you. Well, nope we didn’t 🙂

So let’s start from the beginning. My husband, who is a professional Handball player (in case you don’t know), was without a club for a few weeks. We wanted to wait for the perfect opportunity and about 10 days ago we got the call from Porto, packed our bags and literally one day later we were flying to Portugal. My husband signed for FC Porto until the end of the season and I am super happy to be here with him. Now we just have to find an apartment and figure out if our baby boy will be born in Porto or in Austria.

Here are some shots I took in the city. So many beautiful places to see and so much to discover. I just love big cities. And I already fell in love with Porto. Have you ever been there? Maybe you have some recommendations for us? Let me know!!

DE// Es wird wohl wieder Zeit für ein kleines Life-Update! Den einen Tag waren wir noch in Wien und den nächsten ziehen wir schon nach Porto. Ihr denkt bestimmt, dass wir schon länger Bescheid gewusst haben und nur nichts gesagt haben, aber ehrlicherweise ging das auch für uns ziemlich schnell alles.

Aber von Anfang an… Mein Mann Thomas, der ein professioneller Handballer ist (falls ihr das nicht schon wusstet), war ein paar Wochen ohne Verein, weil wir auf etwas warten wollten, was sich zu 100 Prozent richtig anfühlt. Und etwa vor 10 Tagen kam der lang ersehnte Anruf und einen Tag später saßen wir schon im Flugzeug nach Portugal. So schnell kann es gehen 😉 Thomas hat hier erstmal bis zum Ende der Saison unterschrieben und ich bin sehr glücklich mit ihm hier zu sein. Jetzt müssen wir nur noch eine Wohnung finden und entscheiden ob unser Baby hier in Portugal oder doch vielleicht in Österreich zur Welt kommt.

Ich habe ein paar Bilder in der Stadt gemacht um euch Porto bisschen zu zeigen. Ich für meinen Teil hatte die Stadt nämlich gar nicht so am Schirm, obwohl es eigentlich die perfekte Urlaubsstadt ist, weil man im Zentrum super viel entdecken kann, aber auch unzählige tolle Strände in der Nähe sind. Ich habe mich nach den paar Tagen hier schon richtig in Porto verliebt. Wart ihr auch schon einmal da? Vielleicht habt ihr ein paar coole Tipps für uns?

FR// Coucou! Il est temps de faire un petit “Life update”. La semaine dernière on a demenagé a Porto au Portugal. Mon mari signé un contrat avec FC Porto (Handball) et voila, on est là 😉 Maintenant il faut absolument trouver un appartment et preparer tout pour l’arrivée de notre petit <3
