EN// Happy Sunday to you guys! Today it is time for another Hotel Review. Since you liked the last one ( HERE) so much, I figured I should post them more often!
Two weeks ago my husband surprised me with a stay at the NOVOTEL MARSEILLE VIEUX PORT,a 4 Star Spa-Hotel, located at the old harbor in Marseille. It is in walk distance to the city center with lots of shopping opportunities and of course all the great restaurants at the “vieux port”. The Hotel is super modern, has a huge outdoor pool, a bar and a great spa where we spent one hour using sauna, the steam bath and the indoor pool while enjoying a wonderful view. Speaking of great view: The breakfast room has a huge glass front, so you are eating your breakfast with a wonderful view at the vieux port. And by the way the breakfast was amazing. One of the best breakfasts I had at a french hotel so far.
The room was pretty standard, but had everything you need and it was very clean. The bed was super comfy with a good matress and amazing pillows. We also had a couch, a working desk and a bathroom with a shower.
All in all we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed our weekend in the Novotel Marseille Vieux port very much. I can really recommend you to book this place when you are searching for a Hotel in Marseille, where you can combine shopping and sightseeing with a stay at the pool or the spa.
DE// Schönen Sonntag wünsche ich euch allen! Da euch meine letzte Hotel Review (HIER) so gut gefallen hat, dachte ich mir, dass ich so etwas öfter posten sollte.
Vor zwei Wochen hat mich mein Mann mit einer Übernachtung im NOVOTEL MARSEILLE VIEUX PORT überrascht. Das 4-Sterne Hotel liegt direkt am alten Hafen von Marseille und das Zentrum mit seinen unzähligen Shopping-Möglichkeiten ist bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist sehr modern, hat eine große Outdoor-Pool Area, eine Bar und einen superschönen Spa-Bereich. Natürlich haben wir die Möglichkeit genutzt und haben den Spa-Bereich getestet. Er besteht aus einer Sauna, einem Dampfbad und einem Innenpool mit wirklich wunderschönem Blick über den alten Hafen von Marseille. Eine noch bessere Sicht auf den sogenannten “Vieux Port” gibt es nur aus dem Frühstücksraum. Dieser ist komplett verglast und man kann sein Croissant und Café au lait richtig genießen. Das Frühstück war übrigens auch der Hammer. Mit Sicherheit eines der besten, die ich bis jetzt in einem französischen Hotel hatte.
Das Zimmer war sehr standardmäßig eingerichtet.Alles was man braucht war vorhanden und es war sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein Sofa im Zimmer, einen Schreibtisch, ein Bad mit Dusche und ein sehr gemütliches Bett mit angenehmen Kissen.
Mein Fazit ist, dass ich euch wirklich empfehlen kann, ein Zimmer im Novotel Marseille Vieux Port zu buchen. Vor allem wenn ihr ein zentral gelegenes Hotel sucht und dabei ein wenig Sonne am Pool, oder entspannte Stunden im Spa genießen wollt.
